This year’s Camp is set to be another incredible time of fellowship, teaching, fun and inspiration. Our keynote speaker this year is our very own Rev. Andy Martin, senior minister at Holy Trinity Orange. He will lead us through the book of 1 Thessalonians and what it looks like to stand firm in the midst of trials and suffering with persevering, joyful hope. There’s also fun programs for children and youth.
Register for the whole weekend or just the Saturday. See you there!

Introducing our speaker! Andy Martin is the minister at our very own Holy Trinity in Orange. We asked him a few questions…

My mum and dad are lovely, faithful Christians who taught me about Jesus right from the start, so that I don’t remember a time when I didn’t believe in Jesus. However, like lots of young Christians, it wasn’t till my teens that I understood quite how dreadful I was, and how astonishing God’s forgiveness and grace are!
I love cryptic crosswords, rock climbing, hockey and skiing. The only one of those I can still do in Orange are the crosswords. I also like playing board games with my girls, and hanging out with Amanda.
Life can be really hard, can’t it, sometimes because we are Christians but sometimes just because life is hard. The Thessalonians really suffered when they became Christians, but they kept going, trusting Jesus and serving the Lord God. Paul’s letter shows us how they were able to keep going, what they believed, how they lived and what they looked forward to. We learn how to trust and love and hope like they did so that we can keep going till Jesus’ returns.
