Our keynote speaker this year is our very own Rev. Andy Martin\, senior minister at Holy Trinity Orange. He will lead us through the book of 1 Thessalonians and what it looks like to stand firm in the midst of trials and suffering with persevering\, joyful hope. There’s also fun programs for children and youth. \nRegister for the whole weekend or just the Saturday. See you there! \n[/et_pb_text][/et_pb_column][/et_pb_row][et_pb_row column_structure=”1_2\,1_2″ _builder_version=”4.25.1″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}”][et_pb_column type=”1_2″ _builder_version=”4.25.1″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}”][et_pb_heading title=”Registration for families:” _builder_version=”4.25.1″ _module_preset=”default” title_level=”h4″ global_colors_info=”{}”][/et_pb_heading][/et_pb_column][et_pb_column type=”1_2″ _builder_version=”4.25.1″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}”][et_pb_button button_url=”https://anglicandioceseofbathurst.elvanto.com.au/form/06ece965-a1a6-4703-9651-b964d3a8da72/” button_text=”Click here to register! ” _builder_version=”4.25.1″ _module_preset=”default” custom_button=”on” button_text_color=”#FFFFFF” button_bg_color=”#2F4F4C” button_border_radius=”20px” global_colors_info=”{}”][/et_pb_button][/et_pb_column][/et_pb_row][et_pb_row column_structure=”1_2\,1_2″ _builder_version=”4.25.1″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}”][et_pb_column type=”1_2″ _builder_version=”4.25.1″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}”][et_pb_heading title=”Registration for individuals & couples:” _builder_version=”4.25.1″ _module_preset=”default” title_level=”h4″ global_colors_info=”{}”][/et_pb_heading][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.25.1″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}”] \n(with no children or all children are aged 3 or less) and one adult + one child attendees \n[/et_pb_text][/et_pb_column][et_pb_column type=”1_2″ _builder_version=”4.25.1″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}”][et_pb_button button_url=”https://anglicandioceseofbathurst.elvanto.com.au/form/0d6112d2-7c9b-4295-a1df-b885caa0c516/” button_text=”Click here to register!” _builder_version=”4.25.1″ _module_preset=”default” custom_button=”on” button_text_color=”#FFFFFF” button_bg_color=”#884A35″ button_border_radius=”20px” global_colors_info=”{}”][/et_pb_button][/et_pb_column][/et_pb_row][/et_pb_section][et_pb_section fb_built=”1″ _builder_version=”4.25.2″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}”][et_pb_row _builder_version=”4.25.2″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}”][et_pb_column type=”4_4″ _builder_version=”4.25.2″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}”][et_pb_heading title=”Our Speaker: The Rev’d Andy Martin” _builder_version=”4.25.2″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}”][/et_pb_heading][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.25.2″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}”] \nIntroducing our speaker! However\, like lots of young Christians\, it wasn’t till my teens that I understood quite how dreadful I was\, and how astonishing God’s forgiveness and grace are! \nIf you have any spare time\, what do you like to do?\nI love cryptic crosswords\, rock climbing\, hockey and skiing. The only one of those I can still do in Orange are the crosswords. I also like playing board games with my girls\, and hanging out with Amanda. \nWhy should we look forward to hearing from the book of 1 Thessalonians?\nLife can be really hard\, can’t it\, sometimes because we are Christians but sometimes just because life is hard. The Thessalonians really suffered when they became Christians\, but they kept going\, trusting Jesus and serving the Lord God. Paul’s letter shows us how they were able to keep going\, what they believed\, how they lived and what they looked forward to. We learn how to trust and love and hope like they did so that we can keep going till Jesus’ returns. \n[/et_pb_text][/et_pb_column][/et_pb_row][/et_pb_section]
