Joy comes we realise that Jesus’ birth, life, death and resurrection, mean that we can have peace with God through the forgiveness of sins. And there is great joy in knowing that there one day will be a new heavens and earth, where all the sadness and violence of this world, will be no more and all who have loved Jesus, will be united with him for all eternity.
