St. Barnabas is a rural parish with two outlying centres. Despite our isolation we welcome visitors and new people to our parish and encourage involvement in parish life. Join us for the service and the fellowship afterwards!

History
The first church building in Coonamble was built from bark stripped from trees near the creek. In 1872 the first priest was H. Dicker.
The second church building was erected in 1877 and pulled down in 1909.
The current building was commenced on 12.9.1908 and consecrated on 31.10.1909.
